Marble is One of nature's most beautiful materials. It is a material that is used for creating real masterpieces, it can be formed to do almost anything, the material is more porous than granite and more soft but its colors and beauty gives it an appealing look in most bathrooms and vanity tops. Marble is ideal for places where the look is important but it will not have a lot of wear and tear.
Quartz is a man made material that has some excellent attributes for your project . Quartz has some flexibility and like granite it is very hard to break, it is also more impact resistant. But Quartz does not resist heat the same way granite does and it can be scratched with a sharp blade. Maintenance is minimal since the material is less porous than Marble.
